We offer Psychological Therapeutic and Mental Health Consulting services aimed at restoring balance to your life and taking you on a journey towards completeness and self-mastery.

Counselling

The counselling process is a non-judgemental one, where a safe space is created for you to be as open and honest as possible. This sets the foundation for the necessary work to be done to restore balance to your life. The primary theoretical orientation used is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which explores the relationship between thoughts, feelings and actions.

Counselling sessions can be done Individually or for couples and address the following issues:

Depression and Anxiety

Issues such as Depression and Anxiety can be difficult to manage on your own. They also often occur together. Due to the fact that they can vary in severity, very often they can be overlooked as “nothing serious.” These can be managed with appropriate counselling techniques.

Relationship

Relationships can be tricky, and they usually impact other areas of our lives. Whether it be romantic, interpersonal, familial or occupational, we can help you navigate the thoughts and feelings associated with the challenges.

Grief

Losing a loved one is never easy, even when expected. We can assist you in understanding the grief process and how to grieve in a healthy way.

Self-Esteem

Doing internal work, that is, doing the work on self, is extremely important in tackling other issues which may be affecting you in your life. How you view yourself is integral in how you feel about yourself.

Trauma

Trauma is a wide spectrum and is relative to the person. We explore these extraordinarily stressful events and the resulting emotions and memories to begin the healing process.

Workshops

Some topics can be taught in group settings such as workshops or educational outreaches. For each topic, participants will leave with a better understanding of the topic via exploration of select aspects as well as techniques to improve.

Critical Incident Stress Debrief

This is a therapeutic intervention which falls under the wider umbrella of Critical Incident Stress Management. This is not counselling, but rather a short-term psychological process that focuses on a specific and immediate process. This intervention allows for participants to process the trauma with others who also experienced it.

A critical incident can be defined as a sudden death or a physical or psychological threat to safety and wellbeing. Any situation or event which can cause distressing or profound change, and which disrupts individuals’ functioning can also be defined as a critical incident.

This process should take place within the first 24-72 hours after the event has occurred, as the longer the time between exposure to the event and CISD, the less effective the intervention becomes.

Step 1: Contact Us

We will have a brief consultation with you to determine if our services are right for you. If they are, we proceed to step 2. If they are not, we can assist with the appropriate referral.

Step 2: Book Appointment

The appropriate link will be sent to you to select your appointment.

Step 3: Make Downpayment

Make a minimum downpayment of 50% of the total fee. Should the appointment be kept, your downpayment will go towards the total fee. This is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
